How it works
Weekday Windfall is a Wednesday-night lottery drawn at 20:30 AEST/AEDT. Players choose six numbers from a pool of 1 to 45. The draw also produces two supplementary numbers, which determine some of the lower prize divisions. If your six main numbers match all six drawn, you win Division 1.
The minimum guaranteed top prize is A$1,000,000. Tickets are sold through authorised retailers and online via the Lott's Weekday Windfall page. The game is regulated by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission and is available to residents aged 18 and over.
Odds and divisions
Your chance of matching all six numbers for Division 1 is exactly 1 in 8,145,060. To put that in perspective, it is roughly equivalent to flipping a coin and landing heads 23 times in a row. Lower divisions offer better odds by requiring fewer matching numbers, often in combination with one or both supplementary numbers, but the operator does not publish a full breakdown of every division's probability.
